Associate / Senior Associate – Commercial Litigation

As part of our strategic growth plans, we are seeking an experienced 4-7 PQE Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our highly regarded Commercial Litigation Team, based in either our Southampton or Bournemouth office.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing Commercial Litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious matters and to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

•           Advising clients on a wide variety of commercial disputes, including contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, and insolvency-related matters.

•           Handling your own caseload and supporting partners on more complex or high-value litigation.

•           Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and evidence for court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.

•           Engaging in client relationship management and contributing to the development of new business opportunities.

•           Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues as appropriate, particularly at the Senior Associate level.

 

What We’re Looking For

•           Qualified solicitor with 4–7 years PQE in commercial litigation, ideally gained at a well-regarded firm.

•           Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

•           Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

•           A team player who values collaboration and takes pride in delivering high-quality legal work.
