As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join our Operations Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand, marketing strategy, and client engagement.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, creative, and highly organised marketing professional who thrives in a hands-on leadership role.
About the Role
As our Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of an annual marketing plan that underpins the Firm’s short‑ and long‑term objectives. You will be responsible for delivering multi‑channel marketing activity, managing brand consistency, and driving initiatives that enhance our visibility, reputation, and client experience.
You will also manage and develop the Marketing Team, ensuring they have the tools, support, and guidance needed to achieve their professional and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategy
- Develop and deliver the Firm’s annual marketing plan.
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistent, high‑quality brand representation across all materials and communications.
- Lead creative, compelling campaigns to reinforce our brand proposition internally and externally.
- Support the Firm’s employer brand and people strategy in partnership with HR.
Digital Marketing
- Lead multi‑channel digital marketing campaigns, ensuring strong online visibility and engagement.
- Oversee website development, content management, SEO and PPC activities (in collaboration with Lawfront’s digital team).
- Drive social media strategy and growth.
- Ensure GDPR compliance, data accuracy and responsible use of marketing data.
PR & Communications
- Develop and manage the Firm-wide communications plan.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, media activity and messaging.
- Oversee legal directory submissions and award entries.
- Manage relationships with external design, PR, and digital agencies.
- Provide regular updates to the Board and Partners.
Events
- Lead the strategy, planning, delivery, and evaluation of Firm and team events.
- Manage audience targeting, event logistics, supporting materials and on‑the‑day coordination.
Relationship Management
- Work closely with Partners and Team Leaders on targeted marketing plans.
- Lead the Firm’s client feedback programme and support initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Develop and oversee a Client Relationship Management (CRM) programme.
- Manage key external agency relationships.
Operational Leadership
- Manage and evaluate the marketing budget to ensure strong ROI.
- Ensure all activity aligns with Firm objectives and delivers value.
- Foster strong collaboration with IT, HR, Finance, and Facilities.
- Produce high‑quality, accurate work and maintain confidentiality at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Strategic yet hands‑on, with the ability to lead projects from concept to delivery.
- An experienced marketer, ideally with legal or professional services experience (though not essential).
- A strong communicator with excellent writing and editing skills.
- A confident leader, able to inspire and develop a team.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting at Partner/Board level.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (requirement to travel between offices is essential).
