Trethowans LLP has an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Paralegal to join our respected Corporate Team in Southampton. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their legal career within a forward‑thinking UK law firm known for its expertise, supportive culture, and exceptional client service.

About the Role

Working closely with our experienced corporate lawyers, you will play a key part in supporting a wide range of corporate matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and preparing ancillary documents
• Assisting with due diligence and disclosure
• Managing data rooms
• Conducting legal research and assisting with ongoing transaction and case progression
• Handling initial client enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Liaising with clients and other third parties
• Providing general administrative support to contribute to the smooth running of the team

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate will offer:

• Previous experience in a legal support or paralegal role (corporate experience helpful but not essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A professional, client‑focused approach
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
• A genuine interest in corporate law
